1. I have tested the demo software. Now our Company would like to buy it, but how does it works? Will you send a CD or DVD with the software, or will you give us a Serial Key, with a link to download?
Upon receiving your Purchase Order, we will start the process of licensing the product. It is not a CD or DVD, it is the same demo version you have but we send the Product Security Key to activate it as Production.

2. When upgrading to a new product version, will I loose all my settings?
No, the settings files (*.cfg, *.jpg, *.dat, *.ini, *.msg, *.log, *.csv and *.tab") are located in $BSE/"product name"/Settings and can be backed up then copied to the new directory after the upgrade. The "product names" are: B2WinX, B2EmailX, BHLX, BCCX, BQTX, and BNTX (X is the product version number).
3. What does the license keys extensions *.ckl and *.inp mean?
.inp is demo key. *.ckl is provided to customer when the product is purchased.
4. Can we purchase a product now, and upgrade to a newer version in the future?
If you have an up-to-date maintenance agreement, you will receive all upgrades and bug fixes for free.
5. Is your software free open source software? Does it come already bundled with Baan servers? Or is it independently downloaded at will?
Our software is not free open source software. It is an add-on that was developed by NAZDAQ - which is fully integrated with Baan. It is installed on the Baan server.
6. What are the Graphic PDF Fonts, Vertical & Horizontal Settings?
Graphic PDF Fonts
B2Win and B2Email products can generate files in PDF format based on variable fonts that are used in the report - This format is called "Graphic PDF".
These font definitions are defined in the following way:
Vertical Page Settings
The vertical size of a Baan report can be set in "Maintain Device Data" at the "Page Length" field. This field defines the number of lines per page. Letters will be enlarged vertically when you set a smaller page length.

Horizontal Page Settings
The horizontal size of a Baan report can be set in "Maintain Device Data" at the "Argument" field. The first argument is always "ASCII" and the second argument is the font size. If the font size is set to 12 it means to scale letters 120% from their original horizontal size. When Font size is set to 10, letters will not be scaled.

- The registry of BWPrint Fonts.
- File "font.reg". Some users don't have the permission to read the registry or do not wish to use the fonts used in BWPrint. If you have a file called "font.reg" in B2Win or B2Email home directory - This file contains static font definitions and will be used to make PDF files.
- For cases where there is no access to the registry and file font.reg does not exist, the system will use some default fonts.
