MS-Word and MS-Excel include very powerful Visual Basic capabilities inside them. NAZDAQ has expertise in writing Visual Basic Macros that allow you to manipulate data in Excel and Word.
The following is a sample project. A company wanted to produce a quote from its ERP system. Taking into account that output from the ERP system is usually ugly and does not allow manipulation to be made on the data, the NAZDAQ team helped them build an MS-Word macro that will merge the raw data coming from the output of the ERP system together with a nice MS-Word template. The result was a very nice quote with the latest data and the best design possible. Another advantage in having the quote in Ms-Word before it is sent is the possibility to change it, save it, email it and then print it
